Well, I'm writing this from the relative calm and security of the Gateway Marina. We are on the Quarantine arm and should be cleared through Customs early tomorrow morning. Just had a glorious hot shower, the last for a while I imagine, and a good meal.
We still have to do a calibration of the steering sytem but need a bit of clear water to accomplish this successfully. Everyone is excited and we are fully stocked with food and fuel so expect tomorrow to be a big day. Thank you to all the well wishers. If you are following our blog, expect a delay till we get reception again but I will update daily, hopefully with piccys of some nice fish and perhaps Whales and Dolphins. "Zenataos" previously "Wired" a John Hitch 15 metre Catamaran was rebuilt after a fire destroyed the port hull while she was at anchor at Burrum Heads. The remains, stbd hull, mast , rigging and sails were salvaged by me and towed to Maryborough and lifted on to the hard and then rebuilt over the next two years to emerge as a bridgedeck catamaran.
