Today was a day for stocking up the boat with food. With a bit of forthought we ordered 48 cans of Tuna from Woolworths as a basis for quite a few of our meals. They are also good for bartering for (believe it or not) fresh fish, fruit and veggies. We also bought breakfast cereals, fruit juices, pastas and sauces, and a few goodies for those special days.
Thought I would include a photo of myself painting the deck just in case you thought the girls did all the work.
Bought a certified version of Software On Board (S.O.B.) to finally get our navigation sorted. The steering system is in Australia and has passed through customs so hopefully will be available tomorrow. We will be buying petrol tomorrow and contacting Customs for our clearance. Lets hope that things have turned around and we are on our way soon.
