The weather has been the best on the trip so far, warm with mild breezes and sunny, clear skies. I trekked up to a peak and took some photos of the bay and followed some goats with a vague plan to ambush them at some point for fresh meat , however I was ill equipped for this and decided to wait till I had some help. I had another dive and was about to spear a large Coral trout when he was frightened off by an aggresive Cod which advanced toward me and presented an absolute "kill" shot. I however couldn't pull the trigger and shooed him away. He continued to harass me throughout the dive and I wonder if it is the same Cod that I hit several years ago and had the spear bounce off his gill plates. Anyway we both live to fight another day.
Back to the boat and preparations for the next leg of the journey.
