Well I don't suppose that things can get any worse. Still no joy with the "C" map installation. Cannot get the g.p.s. to talk to the computer yet though have made some small gains. The steering system which I purchased over a week ago has just been posted from the U.S. I included in my payment an email stressing the importance of early delivery. Guess they can't read. Also the outboard is not ready yet so I suppose it will all come together on the day, probably Monday or Tuesday and we will be off as soon as we can arrange customs clearance.
Painted on some non skid today where there were a few slippery spots on the deck and will probably do a bit more before we leave. Piccasso and Van Gogh managed to paint a fair bit of themselves as well as the deck but at least they got the job done as I wrestled with the computer.
Hoping for a good weather window when we finally set off. Whales have been sighted along our route as they migrate North for the winter so will have some leviathan company as we go.
"Zenataos" previously "Wired" a John Hitch 15 metre Catamaran was rebuilt after a fire destroyed the port hull while she was at anchor at Burrum Heads. The remains, stbd hull, mast , rigging and sails were salvaged by me and towed to Maryborough and lifted on to the hard and then rebuilt over the next two years to emerge as a bridgedeck catamaran.
